Bottega Veneta’s Cruise 2012/2013 Advertising Campaign: The Art of Collaboration with Collier Schorr
Collier Schorr is an American artist best known for photographs that combine photographic realism with elements of fiction and fantasy. Her central subject is identity, which she explores through the lenses of gender, sexuality, and nationality. For Creative Director Tomas Maier, Schorr’s interest in the ways that surface can reveal identity made her an interesting choice for the Cruise 2012/2013 campaign, with its soft colors and layered silhouette. “Collier explores questions that are central to the work I do as a designer,” he says. “Her images reveal the individuality of each subject while capturing the gentle structure and ease of the collection.”
The Art of Collaboration:Jack Pierson brought a mix of emotional depth and formal rigor, and his ability to create images that feel at once precise and spontaneous, to the particularly expressive refinement of the Spring-Summer 2012 collection.
The Art of Collaboration Fall-Winter 2010/2011: In a series of striking black-and-white images, Longo brings both halves of the brand together with a sense of humanity that is as moving as it is graphic.
